Local Businesses and restaurants have been adapting to new ways to stay open and support the community during the CoronaVirus. Multiple restaurants throughout the state have started doing curbside pick up for all take out orders. Many restaurants have even been donating to local Healthcare workers as well.

Farmington Naples Pizza has been making national news from their work by donating food to local hospitals and health care workers. Owner Kurt Kruczek gained inspiration after a friend of his in the restaurant business also started donating to hospitals.

Kruczek made an appearance on Fox where he stressed the importance of helping smaller businesses that are still open, whether it’s buying gift cards, donating, or order for take out if available.

As for the hospitals, Kruczek stressed that he would love to see other restaurants start donating as well to health care workers. Naples has been delivered twice per day, a couple days a week to hospitals to attend to day shift and night shift workers.

“..I thought what a great way to contribute to what’s happening right now and maybe make it a little bigger and invite other restaurants to do the same,” Kruczek said.
